Debossing
Debossing is a process used to imprint or press an image, logo, name, or initials onto a product. Unlike embossing, debossing involves pressing an image down into the material (i.e. leather) rather than the image being raised above the surface of the material.
In many cases. the darker the color (i.e. black or burgundy), the less obvious the debossing effect will be on the surface of the leather.
